2011 HB STI vs 2005 SRT4

A friendly race between my shipmate and I.

STI mods-Cobb tuning accessport tune, Exhaust work, intake. Boosting 17-19lbs
SRT4 mods-are in my signature:)




Dig 1 (STI won)- I got a very bad launch I caught up though and still got him. I asked him if he let off he said he never did till after I passed him.

Roll 1 (SRT4 won)- it was a 20 mph roll it was his choice I launched at a very short 1st gear to catch my peak boost. I got him by like 4-5 cars.

Dig 2 (SRT4 won)- it was a good launch for me. I caught up waited for the spool and took him out.

Roll 2 (a car got in the way)- 35-40mph roll I had a nice pull on him. Till one of our guys flashed his headlights to warn us about an incoming car.

This race was held on private property btw.

I made sure in editing that the flag man was not able to be recognized. just in case.

I think this is a perfect showcase of the SRT-4's number one flaw...... the launch. I have worked hard to perfect mine, and invested lots of money to ensure I have a solid launch, and supporting mods. I like the video's I just wish we had time slips with ET's and MPH for each car. I am sooooooo curious as to the 1/4 mile and 60' times.

My launch was terrible this clutch is a lot different than my black mambas...The second dig was a perfect fwd launch against awd. But as you can see it still wasn't enough. Yeah I would love to take it to the track sometime. Thanks chubaca
