Note: MBCs on the stock EVO X turbo are kind of sucky. Big spike to 26-27 psi plus to try to get the turbo to hold 18 psi at redline. The stock boost control system is far superior to any manual boost controller on the stock turbo. A MBC will do a ~decent job on a large turbo like a GT-35 sized turbo.
RRE 3 Port Boost Solenoid $95
We highly recommend upgrading the stock boost solenoids to a single RRE 3 Port Boost Solenoid. The peak power will be the same as the stock solenoids and using a boost pill. However the 3 Port solenoid will keep your boost more consistent and keep any boost spikes to a minimum. There is no charge to install an RRE 3 Port boost solenoid.
EVO X Dyno Retune $150 to $300+ depending on the mods since the last tune. Flash back to stock or reload a RRE tuned map is no charge.
Please come in with at least ½ tank of gas. EVO Xs get cranky when the fuel level gets low. Weâ€
ll burn through at least ¼ tank.
EVO X Dyno Tuning for Dual Maps.
Your stock 2008 and 2010 (GSR and MR) ECU can be programmed to store two maps that you can switch between at will. This feature can also be used as a fail safe for water/methanol injection systems. The maps are switched using the cruise control switch. The cruise control still continues to work normally. There is no dual map available for the 2011 or 2012 EVO X.
$630 for dual fuel maps ($130 additional over the single map tune)
You will need to supply the second fuel. E-85, 100, 104, 110, 112, C-16/Q-16.
