no an indoor one. either at a wharehouse or at the old walmart parking lot. You guys dont worry about insurances, code regulations or anything like that. I will calculate all that and all you have to do is pay a membership fee if you want to be member. the track at the fairgrounds is clay... its harder than hell its almost like payvment. i have raced on that track. but yeahhh you need more of traveling suspension. lol

oh hell i dont have that much money to build a new one! hahahahahahah. Nelz I am willing to take you into the team man. this is what this valley needs. The young racers are NOT the only racers in the valley. there are a lot of other racers that dont hang out at in and out, that do not even drive there cars on the street. There is a broad range of enthusiast in the valley that are probably willing to be a member. I personally dont go out to in and out or the donut shop. I use to when I was younger... I use to hang out at RiteAid and Hamburger Stand, shit one of the guys that use to race with us ran over a damn CHP office once! the good old days.... I have another investor that will be joining. at this point me and this other investor are still in the talks, he is another enthusiast.

your a girl! even better Smile I love it too, i think im just a little to old now to be hanging out with the new generation. I give them props though. They have some really nice cars. I have been racing for 12 years now. I started when I was 18 in college. I learned on the streets....there was no forums at the time to ask questions, shit the internet barely existed. I build my first b18c5 engine when i was 19. some gangsters in phoenix show me how Smile This engine at the time was $4000. I bought it for 1200 with the tranny shift linkage and mounts. I already had a vtec ecu so i used the one i had. I have many tales from the past...memories. back then I was broke, i would eat nothing but top ramen soup to save my money to buy my next performance part. I LOVE BUILDING RICE ROCKETS!

walmart should be nice BUT heres the catch on walmart i thing Armazecretas when and talk to the city about that and if u rent it its a commercial place so rules apply diffrently i have my sister working in the city but if there any type of fee i believe 10% of that goes to the cityor you get fine big time food, drinks, etc selling there 10% goes to the city so for all that you need someone to work on the financial part not that easy and 2k a day its friking ridicuolous

I don't make bank money haha but this is my addiction cars all my cars have been ok fixed i try to keep it as stock as possible on the body and just change a few things to make it stand out.. But i totally get what u mean.. And there's a bunch of different age differences with the guys that hangout u should go tonight just to check it out..

I talked to the main guy in the city, and it's a private property as long as the owner allows it the city has nothing to do the fees would be with the owner all we would need is an agreement

oh yeah I know most the rules. I have owned business. this isn't new for me. This is going to be ran like a business. taxes need to be paid...etc...etc. Im think now that this has not been appoached like a business, more like a community lets all get together and pay. This will definatly have fee attached to it. there will be a membership fee no ifs ands or buts. I need to pay the building, electricity...etc. Im kinda of thinking 35-40 bucks a month for each member. if I have lets just say 200 members that 8k a month. and I really think i can get more than 200 members. I already own business so my insurance rates wouldnt be so bad cuz its an addition to my policy as if someone else had none. I wouldnt do this if I couldnt make money. IT DOESN'T have to be the WALMART building. Its expensive there cuz its on imperial ave and next to costco...etc. it can be a warehouse out in the boonies somewhere. like the old BONANZA buidling off of dogwood. these building go for like $2000 a month. Electricity about 1k in the summer, water and trash, $600. plus whatever. insurance is about $1200-$1800 a month. all racer will be required to have their own insurance as well. there is also legal waiver forms that will have to be signed. Im thinking I can pull in at least 12k-20k a month. this is including paid for events that will be held. also including sponsors from the valley.

You looking for somewhere to do auto-x/drift or just straight up drag? Cuz for drag just look for one of the two abandoned air strips. I tried the holtville airstrip and the guy in charge said we could use it for ANYTHING we wanted to On the condition we pay for the insurance (1mill). So i just said thank you and hung up. I have been in there doing donuts on the air strip in my old miata and it is super wide and good condition minus the 6 feet weeds!!! Hahaha keep in mind i didnt know i was not suppose to be there but the gate was open.

Its awesome what you guys want to do and its about time someone doesnt just talk and actually does something! I applaude chepe and nelz! Good job!

Some warehouses ive seen for sale or lease....the fastenall building by dogwood, theres a big lot with some half sheds in imperial heading towards brawley before you reach shavelles ranch( idk if i spelled it right). Other than that there are some big dirt lots where you can build.

Ohh and i spoke to the guy from the one in imperial and he said he would be fine with it but he didnt think the insurance company they have would even think about saying yes. I explained what auto-x was over the phone but i think a video would be more convincing for him and insurance company. Its all pavement....not the best but OK.

Thats awesome Uly, Im thinking it would have to be a big ass warehouse to do indoors, but the direct auto plaza is a good example! they have an awesome paved parking lot that can be used. its actually big enough to race. Normally a Autox track doesnt require you to go faster that 60mph. Im oging to call my insurance company, hartford insurance (business) and find out what the real rates are. I think 1 million is what your coverage needs to be NOT your premium. for a 1 Million dollar policy its about $1200 a month. it just means your covered for 1 million in damages.Wink I wont be able to call til monday. it can also be a dirt track, as long as its leveled and compressed. I can get equipment to do that. I just really want to make this happen. Im bored and I really love to race....I dont like going to qualcomm to race, and they ar enot even racing as much as they use to anymore. Its like 4 times a year now. plus $50 bucks to register every time. We need this here! If you have every gone and raced at qualcomm the track is probably about the size of direct auto, they race in the parking lot....they just put cones out. if you have gone and raced in Barona casino its the same thing. I think we might be able to discuss this next weekend and I will invite those to my pad to discuss furthur plans.
